Our mission
Immigrant Women’s Justice Center empowers immigrant women and families in Connecticut by providing immigration legal information, referrals, advocacy, and community-based support that promotes safety, dignity, and self-sufficiency.
Who we are
Founded in Connecticut, Immigrant Women’s Justice Center was created to address the unique barriers immigrant women face, particularly those affected by domestic violence, economic dependence, language barriers, and limited access to accurate legal information. Our work centers the lived experiences of immigrant women and prioritizes confidentiality, cultural humility, and respect.
We collaborate with legal service providers, domestic violence shelters, and community organizations throughout Connecticut to ensure women and their families receive holistic and coordinated support.
