We provide immigration legal information and referrals to trusted Connecticut-based legal service providers. Topics may include family-based immigration, humanitarian relief such as VAWA self-petitions, U visas, T visas, asylum referrals, and general immigration options. Immigrant Women’s Justice Center does not provide legal representation unless authorized, but helps clients understand their options and connect with qualified legal professionals.
Domestic Violence Support & Safety Planning
We offer confidential, trauma-informed support to immigrant women experiencing domestic violence. Services include safety planning, emotional support, and referrals to Connecticut domestic violence shelters, counseling services, and legal advocates.
Benefits, Housing & Community Resource Navigation
We assist clients in navigating Connecticut-based public benefits, housing resources, healthcare access, and community services. Our team helps women understand eligibility, application processes, and available local resources.
